Viston MB ("we", "us", "our") operates Genogram Pro, an online genogram maker available at genogram.pro. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in through Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your basic profile information (name, email, and profile picture) from those providers. We do not receive or store your passwords from third-party providers.
Genogram Data
The genograms and templates you create are end-to-end encrypted. Your data is encrypted on your device before it reaches our servers, and we cannot decrypt it without your master password.
Usage Analytics
We use PostHog for anonymized usage analytics to understand how Genogram Pro is used and to improve the product. Analytics data is collected in anonymized form and does not include your genogram content. You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time via cookie settings.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Creem. We do not store your credit card details or other payment method information on our servers. Creem handles all payment processing and may collect payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy.

6. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Genogram data, templates, and share secrets are end-to-end encrypted, and all data in transit is protected via HTTPS. If you lose your master password, we cannot recover your encrypted data.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data and genogram data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days of the deletion request. Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes.

Genogram Pro is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete that information.
