Sharing your genogram

Share a read-only link to your genogram so others can view it in the browser, with an optional password for sensitive diagrams.

Open the editor menu, or the diagram's menu on the dashboard, and choose Share. Turn on Public link, then choose Copy link. Anyone with the link can open a read-only version in their browser and sees your changes as you save them. They can view, pan, and zoom, but cannot edit or export it.

In the genogram editor, pick a view under View and the preview below it shows exactly what the link will show. A new link starts from the view you are working in. The link follows that view as you last saved it, so when you change the view and save it, the link updates too, while unsaved changes stay on your screen. If you delete that view, the link keeps showing what it showed until you pick another view.

Revoke a link

Turn off Public link, or choose Stop sharing from the diagram's menu on the dashboard. The link stops working at once. Turning sharing back on issues a new link.

Protect a share with a password

Turn on Password and save a password of at least eight characters. The link stays the same, and everyone who opens it, including people you sent it to earlier, must enter the password. Send the link and the password separately.

This is not your master password. The master password protects your whole account and is never shared. See Your master password.
